Loews Ventana Canyon Resort's location and ambiance inspired the most dramatic and successful event I've ever done," says Erica Stensgaard, regional event planner for the Rohnert Park-based Northern California Regional Office of State Farm Insurance. "Our petroglyph/ancient images themed evening represented the best Tucson has to offer."

Stensgaard worked with the resort's destination services manager Richard Kleiman, who draped a ballroom to create an upscale "cave" with an entry way featuring laser lights and fog machines.

Inside the cave were cacti and other indigenous plants, and immense boulders etched with "ancient" drawings illuminated by pin lights. Kleiman also constructed tiered seating that gave the area an intimate, club-like atmosphere.
